Who started this ANYWAY?

A group of zealous Park Huntington residents who care about our community. The founding members (and current board of directors) are all your neighbors, and they’re all listed here.


Is This Like a Homeowners Association?

Nope. We don’t care what color you paint your house, and we won’t send you letters about mowing your lawn. This organization is completely voluntary and designed to be fun and productive.


Are the Board Members Paid?

Ha, we wish. We’re all volunteering our time and resources so that 100% of the funds we receive can be directed to our community projects, initiatives, and events.


HOw will I know how my Money is being spent?

We’ll show you and everyone else at each month’s meeting, and we’ll also post “meeting minutes” online so everyone can see the decisions being made.


I rent my home in Park Huntington. Can I join?

Yes! Membership is open to both homeowners and residents of record (ahem, tenants).


How DO I stay informed on WHat’s Happening ?

We’ll have monthly meetings that all are welcome to attend. We’ll also send out periodic emails so everyone knows what’s happening, when it’s happening, and how they can be a part of it.


Can I WRITE off my MEMBERSHIP Dues for Tax Purposes?

We’re not tax professionals, but…PHCC is classified as a 501(c)(4), not a 501(c)(3) qualified charitable organization. Some individuals and organizations may be able to write off donations to our group, but please consult your tax advisor for guidance.
